My Abortion Story

I realize that, because so many people receive these messages from so many diverse backgrounds, there will be those who have conflicting views regarding the subject of abortion. There will be those of both genders who have been involved with an abortion in some way. They will have their views and I'm entitled to mine as well. To these, I have this to say: IF abortion is murder as some say, and certainly we all acknowledge murder as a sin, Jesus is the only alternative for having those sins forgiven just as I've had my many sins forgiven, for mine are no less offensive to a Holy God. We've all sinned and have fallen short of His glory, Scripture tells us. So, whether we're talking about abortion, rape, murder, lust, greed, rage, gossip...it's all sin and only the blood of Christ can save any of us. To those who believe abortion is murder and is, therefore, wrong, I have this to say: I'll stand by as you cast that first stone. People who hurt people are hurting people and need our compassion, mercy and help. NOT a condemning finger pointed at their faces. If you feel compelled to fight for those who cannot defend themselves, don't blow up an abortion clinic or handcuff yourself to one of its doors. Don't carry a bigger sign or yell louder than those across the line. Instead, give them water and set up a portable pavilion to provide shade. Love them and see if it doesn't open up the door for intelligent dialogue and ministry opportunities. They'll know we are Christians by our love. Even our enemies will recognize that. For example, Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood. Her first handbook, published for adolescents in 1915 and entitled, What Every Boy and Girl Should Know, featured a startling afterward in which Sanger wrote: It is a vicious cycle; ignorance breeds poverty and poverty breeds ignorance. There is only one cure for both, and that is to stop breeding these things. Stop bringing to birth children whose inheritance cannot be one of health or intelligence. Stop bringing into the world children whose parents cannot provide for them. Personally, I cannot side with a woman with a philosophy so contrary to what Jesus Christ taught. You can make your own decision in this same way. Here's my story. For 14 years, I was not at liberty to discuss the details of which you are about to read. The contents of this article are being written and spoken about openly with permission in recognition of the fact that others my be helped. Hopefully, many others. I became a serious Christian in February of 1987. Prior to that, I had merely "played" at being one and went through my own series of self-righteous, often sickeningly pious, religious motions. By all outward appearances, I was a better "Christian" than most Christians. Fact was, I was married to my work as an Art Director in the crazy world of Dallas advertising. I went in early and came home late and, though I was faithful to my wife, I shared more of my soul - my mind, will and emotions - with the ladies at work than I did with my own spouse, the mother of my 3 small children. My family got second-best from me. Maybe even third. One Saturday afternoon, my wife came home from running errands and tearfully told me an awful truth: she had become pregnant through an extramarital affair she was having. She had gone out to have an abortion that morning - an abortion that her lover was "kindly" willing to pay for - but she simply could not go through with it. While both of us cried, I forgave her as I had already made up my mind long ago that abortion was wrong. More on that in a moment. A few weekends later, my wife had taken our three children to visit their grandmother out of town, leaving me all alone with my thoughts. What I'm about to tell you are the ONLY details that I can actually recall regarding a telephone call I had late that night with a Catholic priest whom I had apparently gotten out of bed to take my call. I needed to talk to somebody - ANYBODY. Having been raised a Catholic, calling a Catholic Church out of the Dallas, Texas phone book was all that felt comfortable to me at the moment. I couldn't locate that priest again in a million years. He may have been an angel for all I know. One thing I'm sure of is that God gave him the exact words to speak to me at that precise moment in time. After sharing with him the details, plus the fact that I had since decided to raise the child as my own, he sighed and said, "Wow, Mike...you know, Joseph raised a baby that wasn't his...." Friends, that was ALL I needed to hear. I knew in that instant that, with God's help, I could manage. I do not recall any more of the conversation. I do not recall even saying 'good-night.' What I DO recall was turning around to see who was in the room with me as I suddenly felt a very distinct presence. As I turned back around, I felt the Lord's arms wrap around me in a warm, reassuring embrace. I was experiencing a peace that passed all understanding. Sixteen years later, that little girl is a beautiful high school sophomore of whom I am very proud. Though her mother eventually divorced me while the child was an infant, eventually re-marrying a completely different man, only two years ago, she and her husband and I agreed it was time to tell the young lady - our daughter - the truth. Currently, she is forming a relationship with her birth-father, his wife and her two sisters. By God's grace, the best has been made of an absolutley trying situation. One look at her and anybody would wonder how anyone could - even for a minute - have considered abortion as a viable option. (There is MUCH more statistical data regarding abortion, incest, and the right-to-life issue that cannot fit in this section. I have resisted the urge to broadcast regarding this topic for a long time. Too political. Too emotional. Not spiritual enough. But the Lord has apparently given me the green light. I HAD to obey. I could never have aborted the wonderful, beautiful young woman I raised from birth and know today. I've given her my name and she is my daughter and she calls me 'dad'. I have met the former Evangelist-turned-talk-show-host of Life Today, James Roberson, himself a product of the rape of his mother. His ministry is feeding and clothing neglected children across the world. Millions of children have been touched by this man's ministry. In the early days of Christianity, when Roman orgies were often producing unwanted children, these newborns were often tossed over the wall to be devoured by wild anmals or die of exposure. It was Christians who would gather up these children and raise them to know and love God. Moses was a baby who was saved as a result of a woman with a heart of compassion, and he eventually led the children of Israel out of Egypt. Jesus himself was raised by Joseph, a man who was not His biological father. All of us who have come out of darkness and into the glorious light of Christ have received the Spirit of adoption and are now the sons of God, co-laborers with Christ, heirs to the throne, and brothers of Jesus. Raise a baby that is not your own? Assist those who do? In these dark and evil days, where 4500 babies are being aborted EVERY DAY,such situations are more and more likely to occur and touch many of our lives. There IS another way - not a politically correct way, but a CHRISTIAN way - of looking at these situations. As always, as in every instance, there remain no natural answers to this spiritual problem. We cannot lobby, vote or protest these problems away. People need more from the Church than that. They need what we Christians claim that we have; the answer to all the world's problems. They need Jesus. Once again, the Body of Christ, this Army of God, must resist the urge to merely REACT to a situation. Rather, we must ACT according to the example our Savior has set for us. The Age Gap�Dating Someone Much Younger

By Scot McKay As you well know, theres a stereotype about older, probably divorced men dating younger women. Sometimes much younger. The worn-out story tells about a guy in his late 30s or older looking to trade in his wife on a younger model. Think of a 23 or 24 year old hottie and you are on the right track, but dont rule out anyone (or anything) female who is legal (read: 18 or older). Basically, such a guy is in search of an arm ornament. What an insult. One time when I still had an online profile posted, I received an email from a spunky, redheaded, and very cute eighteen-year-old girl (yeah, I said girl, not woman). After a lengthy rant in email form about how all the guys her own age were boring and such, she announced she wanted to settle down and have about ten kids or so. Considering she had spent what must have been a half-hour composing this message to me, I felt somewhat obligated to at least respond (a belief which I by no means impose upon those of you reading this, incidentally). Although tempted to reply with one of my typical single-liners (in this case, You lost me at hello), I went the more pragmatic route. I explained that I was flattered, and I was sure she was a wonderful, albeit verbose person. But at 39 years of age I doubted I had ten more kids tucked away in my future. One of you guys out there reading this is currently throwing something at your computer monitor and exclaiming, WHAT? Are you NUTS? I assure you that I am perfectly sane. Oh yeah. You see, I have a hypothesis that you may find particularly interesting in its irony. I firmly believe that most, if not all older men who obsess about dating girls younger than legal drinking age have something in common: they CANT do so. Thats rightany older man who actually CAN get a date with a very young woman will quickly tire of it. Its the old philosophy at work here called getting kills wanting. Sure, young women are cuties and all. But to tell you the truth, if I am going to be babysitting anyone, Id rather get paid for it than shelling out the bucks myself for a date. Know what I mean? Oh sure, Ive dated my share of younger women over the past few years. As a guy in my late thirties I did my darnedest to justify it, even giving several women about 25 or 26 an honest shot thinking they were exceptionally mature. In the end, they werent. As you might imagine, the thought of dating younger women eventually gave way to more rational thought. Finally, after more lab testing than I care to mention, I happened upon a more innovative frame of mind that has yet to fail me. So, what is the silver bullet? Like many things I talk about around here, its disarmingly simple: I have realized that the greatest find in the world is a woman closer to my age who seems exceptionally young for her age. Really now, how can you miss with this approach? If I am with a 35 year old woman who still gets carded routinely because she seems 23, Ive beaten the system (whatever that means). In such a person, I find all of the vibrant, youthful, enthusiastic beauty of a younger woman wrapped in the mature persona of a REAL woman who can relate with me to the mid-80s. What more could a guy want? Now, for all of you women out there who are reading this and offendedstay that way. Why? Because you somehow read that I want a woman who looks 12 years younger than she is, and its an exceptionally rare woman who can pull that off. Granted. Thats why I was careful to say seems 23 instead of looks 23. Everyone, man or woman, has control over how he or she chooses to act. Whoever you are, keep an adventurous, fun attitude of enjoyment toward what life has to offer and you will absolutely, positively be sending all the right messages. Now if you take care of yourself physically and stay away from the free radicals that a life of hardcore partying hands down, so much the better. But that said, the vast majority of what we are discussing here comes down to attitude. So make no mistakea woman CAN give a man her own age exactly what he is looking for. Its just tragic that most women DONT do so, causing so many older guys to look to younger woman for the excitement they crave. And guys, the same holds true for us. Sure, grow UP. Be mature, have things handled and dont act like an immature little boy. But never, ever lose that sparkle in your eye. Keep the youthful excitement about life and a healthy sense of adventure and youll literally mesmerize women. How cool is all of this, right? Great. Now go deserve what you want. By Jacqueline Ennis To begin this article I must start with it's conclusion. The decision for a woman to lose her extra childbearing weight is between her doctor and herself. Even at that, the decision is ultimately up to the woman alone. She only can decide whether or not she is willing to go through the process (and stress) of losing extra pregnancy weight. However, the woman's decision is usually made from many factors, factors which will encourage or discourage her in this very personal decision. One of the main factors in a woman's life is her husband. At this point I want to encourage husbands to be supportive of their wives who has bared life inside her body. Children are produced though both the woman's egg and man*s sperm, this make the child as much a part of the man as it is the woman's. It is however the woman who has the ability to protect the new life by, it being nestled in the center core of her body. In order for this nestling to remain and be completed, it must take the woman's body through some journeys of changes. Changes which includes but are not limited to the physical, mental emotional and hormonal sides of the woman. It is physical-weight gain that most woman find to be the biggest drama of their afterbirth bodies.
Mainly due to today*s society of thin bodies being better bodies. However we know that how thin a woman is has nothing to do with how great her body is! I want to personally challenge and encourage men who have wives with new bodies; as the result of bringing forth new life. Beginning with: RESPECT: Small word, Big Results! To say it quite plainly, husbands RESPECT your wives for bringing forth new life, that the world may go forward! Keep in mind that this is an accomplishment you will never have the pleasure of experiencing.
To help you along, here is a 10 pointer guideline. 1.) The only time to call your wife out of her name is to call her a loving name. Sweety Cakes, Honey Bun ect. is appropriate. Note: "My Pretty Fat Piggy." Is NOT appropriate! 2.) Often express to her how grateful you are, that she bared the children which the two of you together created. 3.) Be supportive of her emotional state, especially if she is a new mom, as she may be going through postpartum. 4.) Only speak positively about her new body. Don't make comments such as these, "You weren*t this size when I married you." "I bet you couldn't fit into your wedding dress now." "How much did you weigh when we were married?" 5.) Respect, Enjoy and Treasure your wife's new body! With a new look, your intimate moments can become intimate encounters! Explore, ENJOY and I repeat RESPECT! 6.) a. Always tell her, "I Love You!" b. Always show her your love. c. Always do what make her to KNOW you love her! 7.) Refrain from placing compliments on another woman, be it a woman on television or a woman dining at the table across from you. 8.) Knowledge, know that your wife isn't going to always look and dress as she did before her pregnancy. She now has a baby or babies who demand her time and attention, this takes away from the time she would usually spend on herself. A compassionate husband would understand this and still be able to compliment their wife. 9.) If ever, you wonder about something being appropriate to do or say, reflect on this question.

If you know it does not, then don't do or say it.

The New Heaven And New Earth

By Mike Bradley Now that Satan, all of his fallen angels and all of unsaved humanity have been cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, there is only one thing left. God will now give the rest of saved humanity their final reward - the new heaven and the new earth. Believe it or not, this is actually going to be better than what we will get during the Millennium Kingdom. This will be our final abode and something very awesome happens when we get this new heaven and new earth. When we get the 1000 year Millennium Kingdom, we get Jesus literally coming down from heaven to rule our earth from the city of Jerusalem. When we get the new heaven and the new earth - WE WILL GET GOD THE FATHER HIMSELF LITERALLY COMING DOWN FROM HEAVEN TO OUR NEW EARTH AND NEW HEAVEN TO DWELL AND LIVE AMONG US FOREVER AND EVER! We will now have both Jesus and God the Father dwelling among us. Here is what basically is going to happen.
1. Our earth and our atmospheric heaven will "pass away." In its place, we will get a new earth and a new atmospheric heaven. 2. There will no longer be any seas. 2/3 of the earth is water. With all the sea waters being taken out, we will have more land space in which to accommodate everyone. 3. There will no longer be any night. It will be daylight all the time. There will no longer be any sun or moon to shine their light. The Bible says we no longer have need of the sun or moon because the glory of God will illuminate the earth! 4. There will no longer be any more death in any way, shape or form. The curse of Adam and Eve will have finally been broken and done away with. In the Millennium Kingdom, as good as it is going to be, there is still physical death for those humans who survive the Tribulation and enter into it physically. In addition to "death" in any form being taken out, there will also be no more pain since we will all have spiritual glorified bodies. The Bible says that all sorrow, pain, crying and death will be taken away. Every tear will be wiped away. 5. All things will be made new. I dont think our imaginations can even begin to imagine what this verse is telling us just in that one statement. 6. God the Father Himself will now come onto our earth to live and dwell with us forever and ever. The Bible says that we will no longer need the temple that is in Jerusalem in the Millennium Kingdom. The Bible says that both God the Father and Jesus Christ will now be the Temple of God Themselves! The Bible says that the tabernacle of God will now be with men, that we will dwell with Him, that we will be His people and He will be our God forever and ever. 7. In the Millennium Kingdom, Jesus will rule this earth from the city of Jerusalem. It will be Gods capital. However, in the New Heaven and New Earth, we will get a New Jerusalem.
The Bible says that this new city will be like a square. It's length will be as great as its width. Bible Scholars feel that this city may literally be 1500 miles wide. It will be huge! This new city of Jerusalem will literally descend down from Heaven itself - it comes directly from God to us on this new earth. The Bible says that its walls are constructed of jasper and the city will be pure gold like clear glass. It says that the foundations of the walls will be adorned with all kinds of precious stones - the first foundation being jasper, the second foundation being sapphire, the third foundation being chalcedony and the fourth foundation being emerald, etc. The Bible goes on to state that there are apparently 12 of these foundations and each foundation is made with a different beautiful element. This is all described in Revelations 21:19-20. There will be 12 gates with each of the gates being made of pearl. The streets of this city will be pure gold. Each of the 12 gates will have an angel on it. There will 3 gates each to the north, south, east and west. Since all of the bad people have been taken out, there will be nothing left that will enter this holy city that will defile it or cause any type of abomination in it. The gates to this city will always be open for all to enter in at anytime. Now here are the Scripture verses specifically telling us all of this. The Scripture Verses 1. This first verse tells us that our earth and our heaven as we know it now will "pass away," and in its place we get a new heaven and a new earth. This verse also tells us that there will no more sea in this new earth. Here it is:
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea." (Revelations 21:1)
2. This next verse tells us that the tabernacle of God will come down from heaven onto this new earth and that God Himself will dwell with us - that He will be our God and that we will be His people. This next verse also tells us that God will wipe away every tear, that there will be no more death, sorrow, crying or pain and that He will be making all things brand new! Here it is:
"And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." (Revelations 21:3-5)
3. This next verse tells us that there will be no more temple - that God and Jesus will be the temple Themselves. It also tells us that we will no longer have the sun or moon because God Himself will illuminate the earth with His glory. It also says there will be no more night and that the gates of the new city of Jerusalem will always be open to all the nations and that nothing that could possibly defile it will ever enter into it. Here it is:

"But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its Temple. And the city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and the Lamb its light. And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lambs Book of Life." (Revelations 21: 22-27)
4. This next verse also tells us that there will be no more curse from Adam and Eve and once again states that there will be no more night. It says that we shall see the face of at least Jesus and possibly God Himself and that we shall reign with God and Jesus forever.
"And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. And there shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever." (Revelations 22:3-5)
5. Now here are the verses about the new city of Jerusalem and what it will be like.

"Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." (Revelations 21:2) "And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. And her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. And she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of Israel: three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. And the city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as its breadth ... And the construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass." (Revelations 21:10-21).
Conclusion As bad as things are going to get in the future, and possibly in the near future for all of us, each Christian has to keep his eyes on the final end. We first get 1000 years of perfect peace in the Millennium Kingdom with Jesus as the sole supreme ruler of this earth, and then the final ultimate end with the creation of a brand new heaven and a brand new earth, with God the Father Himself coming down to live and dwell with all of us forever and ever.
This new earth and new heaven is going to be beyond anything that our imaginations can even begin to conjure up. The above Scripture verses only give us a partial vision and partial knowledge of what we are all going to end up with in this new environment. One of the most amazing things about the Bible is all of the knowledge and information that is contained in it telling us what is in store for all of us in the future. When you put a lot of these verses together like you would a jigsaw puzzle, the knowledge and messages come through loud and clear. God the Father is truly telling us exactly what is in store for all of us in the future so that we can all properly prepare to receive it. Some patients ask for only one small area to be sculpted, while others have many regions treated. It can take from 45 minutes for a small case to four or more hours for more extensive surgery. Does Tumescent liposuction produce permanent results? After liposuction the bodys new shape is more or less permanent. If a patient does gain a moderate amount of weight after liposuction, then the figure will simply be a larger version of the new body shape. Fat cells that are removed by liposuction do not grow back. As long as the patient does not gain excessive amounts of weight, the new, more pleasing silhouette is permanent. The term "tumescent" means swollen and firm, which is how this technique prepares the fatty tissue for removal. A solution of Lidocaine (a local anesthetic) is injected into the fatty area along with a solution to constrict the blood vessels (typically epinephrine). The Lidocaine is absorbed by the fatty tissue and causes the tissues to become swollen and firm. A large area of fatty tissue can be numbed using this technique, allowing for a large area of liposuction to be performed while the patient is under local anesthesia. The epinephrine causes the blood vessels to constrict or shrink in the area of the procedure, which has a number of advantages. The vasoconstriction limits blood loss during the procedure and provides for a longer-lasting numbing effect, because there is less blood flow to carry the Lidocaine away from the area of the procedure. After tumescent liposuction, the area of the liposuction procedure may stay numb for thirty-six hours without further injection of Lidocaine or other pain killers. Recovery after Tumescent Liposuction: Tumescent Liposuction leaves local anesthetic solution in the tissues resulting in much greater comfort after surgery than the older techniques. This prolonged relief can be of value in cases done under general anesthesia or sedation. Once this wears off, most patients experience some discomfort that is usually easily managed with some oral medication for a few days. You may weigh more, about the same, or less right after surgery. Some of this is from the extra fluid used during the tumescent technique that you will urinate over the next day or so. Some weight will be from the fluid of tissue swelling. How much and where depends on what was done. Since there is less bruising and bleeding from Tumescent Liposuction, there is less blood to be absorbed and irritate tissues. The lack of this irritation means that the swelling goes down much faster. After sedation or general anesthesia, eat lightly at first to avoid an upset stomach. Drinking some extra liquids will help your body adjust its fluid balance. Since there is a lot of fluid injected during Tumescent Liposuction, some does leak out of the tiny wounds after surgery. This is normal and should end by the next day. Using feminine pads or dressings to catch this liquid is an effective way to deal with this minor inconvenience. You can resume showering by the second day after surgery. Tumescent Liposuction results in a rapid improvement of your shape. Most of the swelling goes down in a few days but part of the result is from the contraction of tissue that has been treated. Although my patients see a dramatic improvement within 7-14 days, it will take 3 to 4 months to see most of the changes in your contour. In men the most common area is the flank or "love handle" region. Social Commentary

By Anthony Smith A Social commentary is the act of expressing an opinion, on the nature of society. This is most often done with the idea of implementing or promoting change by informing the general populace about a given problem and appealing to people's sense of justice. Note that social commentary is not necessarily connected with the idea of instigating change or edifying the public through literature. It could also be a part of an everyday conversation. The best example of social commentary, that I know of is, The War of The Worlds by H.G.Wells. This book was speaking of the state of England and its Army. The other Book that I will Reference is The Quatrains of Nostradamus. Called a book of prophecy, but is in reality, only social commentary, Sort of a rise and fall type of book. The Quatrains of Nostradamus is the biggest book of deception that I know of. Many say that The Words of the Bible are social commentary, but in reality, they are not. Jesus spoke of many things happening in the present day world openly, but never as a commentary. Even His remarks of the political system were void of any hidden message. Social Commentary's are statements of social injustice, hidden in the words of poetry and novels. The phrase that Jesus used to indicate the condition of world events came from Luke 12:49, I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? This verse is not a social commentary but a statement of fact. This verse is indicating that religious differences were at a kindled state and that the fire, which is a broader devision of religious beliefs, were going to come. We see this in todays society between the believers in Islam and the Peoples of, Christianity and Israel. We can say this because of recent events around the world, with the hatred of Christians and especially Israel by the Islamic Union. Even when the Apostle Paul rebuking Peter for removing himself from the gentiles as the Jews entered, was not any type of Hidden message, but just pure fact. In John 18:36, we see that Jesus knew of the state of the world but had not come to interfere with the short term but rather to make a difference in the long term, of humanity from birth to death. A kingdom on earth would not have changed man ideas of right and wrong but a kingdom not of this earth would. John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. If you've noticed, in His statement, His remarks were directed toward the Jews and not at the Gentiles, for they were the biggest hindrance to His ministry. In John 6:15, we again see, that Jesus was not intended to be made a King, but rather a savior to the world. When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone. Jesus had no need of social commentary, for every one knew of the oppressive state that the Romans had made of the Jewish State of Israel. Israel had been saved from The Pharaoh and were in need of deliverance from the Romans. Israel expected The Messiah to be another Moses, David and Solomon all rolled up into one. This is what they wanted, but didn't receive. In Revelations 13:14 we see again, not a social commentary but a prediction of future events. There are no hidden verses in scripture that cannot be understood. The fact that many want to say that The Bible is a Book of Hidden social commentary, have either, never read it, or, Understood it. As in Revelations 13:14, as with all verses, The Holy Spirit uses, either, Parables, Metaphors, Visions, Dreams and Interpretations, to explane many of the passages or words in Scripture. Nothing is hidden and all can be understood clearly. Revelations 13:14, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. In these next verses, we see that the Bible speaks, not of the social climate but of the individual or individuals, in respect, not toward the society nor government, but of their relationship toward God. Lets read Mark 12:14-17 and see if you can understand; And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it. And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's. And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marveled at him. Mark 12:1- 12:12 are verses of parables, teaching to those that are and will condemn Him to death and also will condemn themselves to Hell. Jesus is showing, not only the past, but the present and future. Nothing is hidden, nothing is written in secret. Mark 4:2 And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine. Why is all this important to us who read the Bible? The Reason is in, Rev 13:5, Dan 7:11, 7:25 & 11:36. Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Dan 7:11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. To change the Bible into a Social commentary, The Anti-Christ can deceive many into believing that His way will be the way to everlasting peace upon this earth and the Predictions of the Bible can be changed. In assuming infallibility, professing to forgive sins, and to open and shut heaven, thundering out bulls and anathemas, excommunicating princes, absolving subjects from their allegiance, and exacting obedience to his decrees in open violation of reason and Scripture. Use these as your Key Performance Indicators or mile stones to monitor the effectiveness of your lead generation system and marketing campaign. We all know how profitable a craft show can be. Offline events are perfect for getting the word out about your business and making new contacts. What could be better than hundreds of shoppers walking right up to you and saying hello? The most difficult part of a craft show is actually locating them before all the tables are booked.
